Ty was born in 1997 in Leamington, Ontario.
Ty started riding at 5 years old. His 1st bike was his brothers handed down 2000 Honda XR50.
2002
The 2002 ERMC Superbikers club event was Ty's 1st race where
he finished 4th. The same year he also finished 4th at another club event, the 100 lapper.
2003
In 2003 Ty raced in his 1st official race at the Leamington 1/2 mile
where he finished 2nd in the 50cc class. He also completed in the CMRC motocross race in Wheatley and placed 4th.
In 2003 Ty raced most of the ERMC club events that year as well.
2004
Ty moved up to a KTM LC50 Pro Sr. in 2004 which was a big jump from his
Honda 50. In 2004 Ty placed 1st and 3rd in the Leamington 1/2 mile races and 1st and 2nd at the Wheatley short track
events. He placed 2nd at the Wheatley round of the CMRC motocross and 1st at the Wheatley TVR race. Ty won
the 100 lapper at ERMC and was very competitive at all ERMC club events. Ty is very proud of his 2004
ERMC High Points 3rd place award. 2004 will be a year Ty will always remember going to the Toronto Skydome to receive
his trophy for finishing 3rd in the 2004 National Dirt Track Championship Series.

Ty is off to a fast start in June 2005 placing 2nd in London at 1st Ontario

Ty also won the 4 race ERMC MX Series race in Wheatley.
2006
2006 saw another new bike for Ty this time a 2006 KX 65 just like
his brothers. The new bike was defineately a transition year. Ty finished 6th in the TVR 65 Junior class and was
competitive at all of the ERMC club events. Hopefully Ty will be able to keep his bike on 2 wheels more in 2007.
When not riding Ty likes playing travel hockey, soccer and paintballing.
